Some people say that they are actually proof that the process is taking place. Pronunciation errors are some of the most common that English Learners make; they can be by omitting or deleting a sound (not pronouncing it), inserting a sound (adding a sound to make pronunciation easier), or replacing a sound (using a similar sound from the first language). Error correction can be a tricky thing since not every student learns the same way. Teachers often have to pay attention to the specific errors students make and take into account their different needs.
